Kia Ora Whanau!

Room 7 is learning about 'Better citizens for today and tomorrow!' We are learning how to be good citizens. Our question is 'What can I do that helps me and helps you?'

We had a special visitor come to speak to Pohutukawa Syndicate this week. His name is Jim Filiva'a. He is studying at the University of Auckland and he does volunteer work for the Edmund Rice Camps in Auckland.
Jim was teaching us how to be a good citizen and what he does to be a good citizen. Jim said that when someone was hurt he would help them.

Jim was interesting. When Jim started being a good citizen was when he was 5. When someone fell down he helped him get up.
