Room 7 Term 1 Week 4 2014

Kia Ora Whanau and friends!
What a great week we have had in Room 7!
 
This week we have been swimming in the mobile pool and we have been lucky enough to have Reta to teach us.

We did blowing bubbles and floating and kicking.

 

 

 

 

We have also done lots of maths, reading, writing and inquiry.

We read the story of Maui slowing the sun and talked about how he and his brothers had a strong partnership.

Room 7 week 1, 2 3! Term 1 2014

Kia ora everyone! Welcome to Room 7 for Term 1 2014!

This year our statement is MAKE YOUR MARK!

For this term we are looking at "I make my promise, I keep my promise."

Our question is What makes a strong partnership?

We have been looking at the Treaty of Waitangi as an example of an important partnership in  New Zealand.

We have looked at our school rules and remembered that we have NO HANDS! NO FEET! NO PUTDOWNS!

 

 

 

In week 1 we had a special Duffy Assembly to remind us how important reading is for us with our learning.
