Room 7 Week 8 Term 1 2014

Kia Ora Everyone!

This week we have been doing lots and lots of practise of our school haka.

We even got to do it with the whole school on Spartan court.

We also got into groups in our class and practised some more. We think we are doing a very good job so far!

We are feeling very proud of our school partnership and our class partnership in creating this amazing haka!

This week we have been practising our School Haka!

We had two girls come to help us. We had Te Oriwa and Korban from Room 14.

Now, we know all the actions and the words. Check us out!

We were practising on Savage Park and we had a special visitor watching us! Look who it was!

Room 7 week 6 Term 1 2014

Kia Ora Whanau! 

What a great week it has been!  We have been learning our school haka with Thor Jacob and David from Room 20.

We also finished our fabulous story of How Maui slowed the Sun

We presented it at assembly on Friday. We all worked together in partnership to make it look and sound really great!

Room 7 week 5 Term 1 2014

Kia Ora Everyone!

 

We have been working very hard in Room 7 all week.

We have been writing awesome recounts about our weekend activities and about how Maui and his brothers slowed the sun.

 

It was the final week for swimming this week and Friday was our last day in the pool.

We used the kick boards and practised our floating skills. Then we got to have free time!
