Room 6 Week 7 Term 4 2013

Wow! Is all we can say about this week. It has been awesome!

First we interviewed two of our leaders to find out why they wanted to become a school leader and what skills they need to do a good job.

Thank you Amit and Viktoria, you helped us a lot.

Then we went to see the Hunger Games presentations done by Room 20. We learned about the three books and the fighting between the people.

Then we had some year 7s come and do their campaigning for becoming the next school leaders.

We put up their posters on our windows and we asked them questions about why we should vote for them. There are lots of very good people who want to be our school leaders. It is a tough decision.

And last but not least, we had our Kai Hauora Day picnic on Friday. We made our Monster Muncher sandwiches to share and played games with Room 15.

After that we got to watch the amazing Tongan Group perform their fabulous dances! It was sooooo awesome!

Kia Ora Whanau!

What a great week it has been for us!

We continue to have terrific swimming lessons with Riccardo in the mobile pool.

We had a lovely day celebrating the festival of Diwali. Lots of the teachers got dressed in traditional costumes and some of the seniors did a beautiful dance performance for us.

We also continued with our study of How can I be a better me? and found out about healthy food for lunch.
Then we created a fabulous Monster Muncher Sandwich!

Have a great weekend everyone!
