We are very lucky to have been working with Mr Lewis Thorogood, who has come from Auckland University to do his last practicum in Room 6.
We have been learning how to write a procedure.
This week we wrote about how to make pikelets.
We also helped to make them and EAT THEM! YUM!
First Mr T showed us what we need.
Then we helped to make them.
Next, we took turns to put a spoonful on the hot plate. We were very careful because it was hot!
We waited for the bubbles to come to the surface.
We took turns to turn them over.
Next we got to choose jam or nutella to go on our pikelet.
Then we ate them, yum, yum, yum!
Even Mr T and Mrs H had one!
We thought they were delicious!
THANK YOU Mr T!
