Kia Ora Everyone!

Welcome to week 9 and the last week of Term 3.

This week Room 6 have been writing, learning and practising their speeches for the Year 3 speech competition. We are talking about being Firewise.

 

Who will win the competition? Watch this space!

 

We also had our last training session for Rippa Rugby with Hamish. There was a lot of action! We used the skills we have learned to help our team win.

 

 

Have a good break in the holidays and we will see you back at school in two weeks.

Lights! Camera! Take Action for Change!

Kia ora whanau!  We hope you enjoyed watching our movie.

On Wednesday we went with the whole school to Hoyts at Sylvia Park Mall.

First we got together with a buddy.

Then we lined up with all the other classes on the Junior court.
We had to wait for a while because there was a fire alarm at the Mall.

 

Next we walked with our buddy and our class to Sylvia Park Mall.

 



 

Then we walked through the Mall.

 

 

After that we went up the escalator.

 

 

And into Hoyts Cinemas.

 

 

Next, we were on the Red Carpet!

 

 

 

Then we sat in our fabulous seats!

 

 

 

And watched all the movies with the Best School in the World!

Wow, those movies were impressive and gave us lots of messages about change. Well done SPS! Great job!

 

 

 

Room 6 Week 7 Term 3 2013

Hello Everyone!

This week we have been doing our usual work of Reading, Writing, Maths and Inquiry. We finished making our movie and are very excited about viewing it at Hoyts Sylvia Park!

We have also been learning more about passing the ball in Rippa Rugby with Hamish.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Room 6 Week 6 Term 3 2013

Malo e lelei Everyone! Welcome to Tongan Language Week.

This week Mrs Hanline was very sick and we had to do our work with relieving teachers. We tried very hard to keep learning.

We had a special assembly on Friday to celebrate Tongan Language Week.

 

 

It was lots of fun and we loved the singing and dancing!
