Room 7 Term 4 Week 3 2014

Hello Everyone!

Room 7 continues to improve their golfing skills with Coach Larissa.

This week we got to try and hit the golf ball to a low target, a net and a larger round target. Some people even got it in the net!

 

But first we had to do warm ups! We did follow the leader on the ladder. It was very very windy!

 

 

Then we did our practice hits.

This week we have been doing more golf training and getting better and better!

Coach Larissa says we must practice a lot to get better.

 

 

 

We had lots of turns to hit the ball at the hoop and some of us even won a 'letter prize'.

This letter was used with all the other letters to make our new word - Courtesy!

Kia Ora Whanau! Welcome back to another exciting term!

Our inquiry statement is: 'Don't underestimate! Always investigate!'
Our inquiry question is:   "How can we become Sunsmart Scientists?"

We have started Tuning in by brainstorming what we know now about the sun and what we would like to find out.

We have also started our Golf training with Coach Larrissa.
We will be having our training every Thursday for the rest of the term. It was very exciting trying to hit the ball to the target!
